August, 2007: The D2B AllianceTM held its next educational webinar on August 28, 2007, from 3:00pm-4:00pm (EDT). This webinar focused on the D2BTM evidence-based strategy of prompt data feedback.
July, 2007: The D2B AllianceTM held an educational webinar on July 31, 2007, from 3:00pm-4:00pm (EDT). The focus of this webinar was ED physician activation of the cath lab, which is one of the D2BTM evidence-based strategies.
June, 2007: An important article to D2B: An Alliance for QualityTM participants was published recently in Circulation. The article advances the evidence base supporting the interventions you are implementing - in particular, ED Physician activation of the cardiac catheterization laboratory and a team based approach to care. June, 2007: D2BTM held its first educational webinar on June 8, 2007, with over 240 participating hospitals. The topic of the first webinar was D2BTM measurement.
May, 2007: The CEO of the ACC, Jack Lewin, presented on D2BTM to a symposium held at the John Paul II Medical Center in Krakow, Poland. The presentation was well-received by all at the largest PCI hospital in Poland.
April, 2007: The ACC and the Spanish Cardiovascular Society officially launched D2BTM in Spain on April 18, 2007. More than 30 Spanish primary PCI hospitals were represented at the launch and there is great enthusiasm for this important and exciting development for D2BTM.
March, 2007: The D2B Alliance for QualityTM has had over 800 hospitals enroll as of March 16, 2007. We have had an enormous response and want to give hospitals every opportunity to join the D2B Alliance for QualityTM. Hospitals may enroll in the D2B Alliance for QualityTM through April 30, 2007. D2BTM offered an opportunity to learn more about this important campaign during the ACC 2007 Scientific Session in New Orleans. The D2B Participant Workshop occured Monday, March 26, 2007, from 10:00am-12:00pm at the New Orleans Marriott in room La Galerie 3.
November, 2006: D2B: An Alliance for QualityTM debuted on Nov. 12 in conjunction with the American Heart Association (AHA) Annual Meeting in Chicago. Interested participants were provided with the tools and information necessary to help reduce door-to-balloon times.
October, 2006: D2BTM staff were on hand at the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) annual meeting in New Orleans to educate emergency staff about ways the D2BTM campaign can help save time and save lives.
